Two things. My rear brake was making horrible noises, I took it apart and sprayed brake cleaner over all the appropriate surfaces and used a dremel to grind off the ridge on the edge where the brake shoe wasn't making contact with the drum, put it back together and it was great for a few miles then started doing it again. It not only sounds terrible, but I can feel it vibrating through my foot. Do I just need new pads or what? Also, I left my petcock on last night and this morning had a surprisingly large puddle of gasoline under the bike. On one side it was dripping out of the air filter, the other looked like it was coming from the bowl or somewhere similar. Should I worry about this, or just leave my petcock off when parked? new "softer" pads. It would depend on the amount of moisture. Annoying
as hell.
