| Todd, I'll be over in Eau Claire next weekend. If you need some additional eyeballs holler. Question will be if you have a later 4 spd like Greg's and mine with the 22mm needle bearing or the earlier bearing. Maybe have MG send both with both size O rings & 3 oil umbrellas for the push rod and we'll have a 99% chance of having the right part on hand. Or swing the clutch arm out of the way and pull out the outer disk and bearing behind it with some pliers are find out before hand. |
Any telltale signs to distringuish between the two 4 speeds? Before I
start ordering
parts I am going to narrow this down. I only ask that those on the board
to be patient and bear with me, as this is a new experience for me.
Frankly,
I have no idea what I am doing, but have decided if I am going to own this
type of motorcycle,
I had better start learning.....
