that's a tough tap to find. 22x1.5 or 22 x 2.5 are readily available. i
never checked, but is it indeed 1.25 not 1.5?

It is needed to chase the threads in the crank pin plug hole on a '67 V700. The factory plug was seized (after 38 years-not surprising), I had to drill it out. I started turning in the new plug, it got about 1/2 way, started to stiffen up, I gave it a little more torque, and...well you know the rest of the sad story. I now have aluminum galled up in the steel threads. Bummer. So anyone know where I can lay hands on this metric beast?
