Charlie,
After taking apart the spokes on my BMW R25 some time ago and finding out what a pain it is getting the lil buggers apart, I always use anti-seize...it's great stuff. My neighbor put some anti-seize on a pulley that travels across a cable-dog run, totally unprotected from the harsh Southwestern Pennsylvania elements, and years later, it still moved slick as a whistle.....unbelievable stuff, I always use it, because you never know when you might have to take something apart again.....

Buchanan's sent me two little bottles of "special" lube for my s.s spokes and nipples, but he will be using nickle plated brass nipples. Should he use motor oil, bearing grease, anti-seize, or? What do y'all use?
