Hi Bill,

I believe Patrick to be correct about one of the o-rings and the cone
shaped items. As for the other two o-rings, here are your options:

1. Could be for the rear cover where the shift shaft protrudes through
the case. This is one is medium sized and somewhat thick. To get to
this, you would remove the rear cover fron the transmission, pry the old
one out, and replace with the new one.

2. Could be for the front of the transmission just under the clutch
input hub. This one is pretty large in diameter, but it is very thin. To
get to this, you would remove the clutch input hub, remove the old one,
and replace with the new one.

3. Could be for the front of the transmission on the input shaft. This
is one is medium sized and somewhat thick. You may be able to get to
this one simply by pulling the clutch hub, but I'm not certain. I
replaced the one on the 850T transmission I recently did while the input
shaft was completely removed. Just have a look and see. You might just
be able to pick it out without too much trouble.

4. There are a few other o-rings that live on the output shaft, but I
really doubt that Gordon sent you those.

If none of this makes sense, just post the part numbers that Gordon and
Rick put on your receipt. Or, just give Gordon a call. Best of luck.

The two cones are for the clutch throwout rod. I think the flared end
faces aft. One of the o-rings is likely for the throwout bearing
thruster at the back end of the trans. Should have replaced the bearing

itself. Easy to do later. Look at the throwout bearing sandwich. Any
wear evident on those two race washers either side of the bearing? If
so, ditch the bearing.
