I haven't used the swingarm method, but moving the engine
forward isn't all that tough either - just need to make
sure you get the generator cover off so you can jack it up
enough to get it forward. It is still a very tight fit.
You have to remove a fair amount of other hardware, but
its all easy stuff (seat, tank, starter, breather, coil,
etc).

Once I do this, does the universal joint just slide apart or is there something else I should know? Any suggestions will be appreciated.
