Bill,
The u-joint will just pull off the back of the tranny once you pull back the
swing arm. This is the easiest way to do it.

I just received my new RAM clutch from Gordon at MG, and after reading an
old posting concerning transmission removal, I assume the preferred way is
to slide the engine forward and go from there. Once I do this, does the
universal joint just slide apart or is there something else I should know?
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
