Shimming the drum helps this problem. Slop in the linkage adds to the
lenght of the throw. But you'll still have a somewhat "vague" shift at
times when downshifting. Nature of the 4 spd.
I'm thinking my choices are to find a dual arm shifter (heel-toe) or somehow fix the linkage. |
You do not have a "heel" on your's now???
A heel mades a dramatic difference!!! I'll have to dig in the attic.
