"Hey" to everyone,
I used a converted Bench grinder and dremel tool with polishing buffs to shine up the Eldo. Although it's not up to the quality of some of the stuff I see pictures of, it definitely looks 1000% better than it did before I started. I'd like a Baldor too but the variable speed grinder I got on ebay for $40.00 has done pretty well. I like the polishing, it's really satisfying to see something get so much shinier. Just have to remember to clean my beard off after, as it goes from white to metallic gray striped after a good session. Got my polishing stuff from Jestco too. He is a nice guy, prices are ok, and I try to buy from the "little guy" whenever I can. He's good to talk to if your not sure what you need. Too many big outfits driving the locals out of business.
We usually get 12" of rain a year here. Had 5" in last two days and it's still pouring, that's after already being 4" above average for the winter before this storm. Not doing any riding, just watching the arroyo in front of my shop, hoping the building is still here in a day or two. I have a 117 year old building with the original metal roof on it, needless to say I've discovered new leaks where I never thought I would!
Hope everyone is staying warm and dry
Steve
