No emissions. It's a sealed unit, oil filled. Looks like the old radiators
you find in old homes. You can wheel it anywhere in the garage you want it.
Left on it will maintain the temp. Mine is running right now.

Is it run to keep the garage at a consistent temp? Seems as though there
would be the "emissions" issue again. Kev

Kevin,
I use an oil heater from Wal-mart. Keeps my 1 car partially insulated garage
around 50-55 degrees. A buddy has one in his 2 car garage and it keeps it
around the same temperature.

Hey all,
My pal Kev & I are getting his garage together. I have been trying to look
into heaters for it. We (It'll be my work space also) want a heater that is
preferably wall mounted, thermostacally controlled, and no need to vent.
Although there can be a compramise made with the venting part. Ideally we
want something that can be turned on, and run off a thermostat all winter
long. That way the bikes could be kept at a regular temp(40-50) all winter,
plus when it's time to get out there and do something, it won't be
unbearable at first. To top it off it would be cool if we could run it LP
gas for this winter, then when the ground thaws, convert it over to natural
gas. We put in a cieling, insulation, drywall, ect. Size is prob. 2 car.
Anyone have any suggestions? We (I) definatly need something soon as this
michigan winter is turning out to be just grueling. It seems such a simple
request seeing as how we put people on the moon but the internet searches
are leading me nowhere. Just a bunch of cheesy looking stuff.
