It's an ND alt. from a Toyota forklift.
The mount is currently a one-off, made by Bob Nolan. Bob and I will
begin making a pattern and fabbing up brackets later this week. We need
to modify it for a more-readily-available car alternator.
It mounts to the two gen-mount bolts, plus a strap to the front
dist.-mount bolt. It wires in via one wire to the pos. battery
terminal. Puts out 40 amps at 14.5 V, for over 500w.
The only side effect is it's about 10 lb lighter than the gen, so the
Eldo wheelies easier.
