When it does arrive the hardened washer will be missing and there will
be a dent on the area where the seal contacts. That and it will sit out
away from the timing cover about 3mm more than it should. At least
that's how mine was. Oh, and one of the 6mm bolt holes where the pulley
attaches was drilled and tapped crooked! I know of at least three other
people who received their adapter in the same condition. Pay all that
money and the quality sucks. Teo Lammers must have them made at the
local high school machine shop.
Luckily I found a hardened washer (be careful on the thickness - too
thick and the crank bolt will contact the generator belt cover) in my
bucket of hardware from projects past and a (black, hardened) flywheel
bolt is just right to attach it to the end of the crank. I polished out
most of the dent and the rest missed the lip of the seal because the
adapter sits out further. Loads of fun! Cheers,
