2LS is better in stopping power, but you need one brake that's not 2LS,
or it can be hellish stopping on hills.

Also, unless you have significant weight in the chair at all times, a
2LS will be too much brake, in my opinion. I had an Ambo with a Velorex
for a while. The Velorex wheel included a brake. Maybe get a chair with
a brake?

Greg,
Thanks for the input. (sounds like experience)
My desire is to increase my braking capability overall with the
sidecar.
I'm currently looking for a Loop front wheel and brake assembly to put
on the sidecar and just figured that 2LS at all three points would be
better.
Should I consider using just a SLS brake assembly on the sidecar
wheel??
Thanks again,
Hacksaw

The 850-T rear brake on mine gave a net gain of braking power. In
fact,
it's too powerful, locking at very light pressure. This is fixable,
though, through "mid-adjusting" the linkage or putting a bow in the
long brake rod.

I would not recommend adding a T rear brake if you have drums up front
because then all your brakes are 2LS and will not hold the bike when
from rolling backward when stopped on a steep hill.
