Greg,
Thanks for the input. (sounds like experience)
My desire is to increase my braking capability overall with the sidecar.
I'm currently looking for a Loop front wheel and brake assembly to put
on the sidecar and just figured that 2LS at all three points would be
better.
Should I consider using just a SLS brake assembly on the sidecar wheel??
Thanks again,
Hacksaw

The 850-T rear brake on mine gave a net gain of braking power. In fact, it's too powerful, locking at very light pressure. This is fixable, though, through "mid-adjusting" the linkage or putting a bow in the long brake rod. I would not recommend adding a T rear brake if you have drums up front because then all your brakes are 2LS and will not hold the bike when from rolling backward when stopped on a steep hill. GF |
