John,
I'm a very patient man. I don't need these for a while, but
hopefully within a year. Please keep me in mind when your process is
perfected - jumpjg(at)hotmail(dot)com.

Hi Joe:

I can help you if you're not in a hurry. I just spoke to my screener
and he
still has some work to do. The initial test showed very good results,
but
the font wasn't perfect so he needs to fix it.

We're looking for an exact reproduction and the fuzzy edges that someone
mentioned will not be present.

John

John,
Hey, I was wondering...can you help me out with silk
screening a V-700 speedo inner plastic ring? Actually, I have 2 that
need it.

Thanks,

J Jump

Lastly, for single spedo loops. I worked with a local silkscreener to
have
sceens made to replace the numbers that tend to fall off the inner
plastic
ring.

duffy,
taking the bezel apart and putting it back together without cracking the
glass is hard. you should carefully pry the back of the bezel gradually
all
the way around and try not to kink the bezel.
If you remove it without damage, putting it back together is done
carefully
in the reverse order. If you kink the bezel while removing but manage
not
to
break the glass, just get a new bezel (ask me how I know)
If you do break the glass or kink the bezel, West Valley Auto
Instruments
in
Reseda, CA - (818) 758-9500 - can get you a new bezel (not exact
replica,
from VDO I think) and glass. I paid about $35. Talk to Morris.

Maybe a speedo shop local to you could get the same bezel/glass.

For jacking, maybe make adapters from 2x4s to support by the frame and
not
the motor.

I need side covers too!

Have Fun and Good Luck!
