if your charging system is working, and you maintain the battery, the
tractor battery should last a very long time theoretically. practical
life on a wal mart tractor battery? i've had one for over 3 years that
works great....and i think it was $19.00 or so..

About how long do these cheaper garden tractor batteries last? And��� since the bike was running OK why didn't the generator continue to power the lights??
