Sold! I say that the Virginia (or MidAtlantic or whatever) Guzzi
contingent should offer to sponsor (and provide) the "Oldest Guzzi"
award at the 2005 National. I say "offer" because Buck may already have
a different plan; but if not, we could come up with some kind of neat
award for the Oldest Guzzi That Got Ridden To The Rally, and have it
there for the organizers to award.
If someone creative can come up with a good idea, I'll help pay for it.
I do the "Longest Ride to the Rally" award for the Ohio Valley BSAOC,
and a nice little wooden box with an engraved plate on it, containing
items like Amal needles and gasket sets, spare points, master links, and
other practical widgetry near and dear to the heart of the over-the-road
BSA rider, seems to work well.
Just an idea....
