JC Whitney sells a rubber adapter that is supposed to stop mirror vibration.
Kind of like a Norton motor mount for mirrors.

I removed the universal mirrors of the Eldo this Sunday. I screwed in some
old CB 750F mirrors in to the mounts and
attached them to the handlebars. They grip pretty tightly and have
allen-headed screws. The 750 mirrors are a larger
diameter than the universal ones but the left one still vibrated much more
than the right side; kinda looks like what
happens after you take some mescaline...not that I've ever taken the
stuff...just what I've heard on the street....
