I tried one of JCWitless's rubber mirror adapters to stop the vibration on my 750F. It has a rubber bushing on the
inside and inside the rubber bushing, is a threaded metal sleeve for the mirror to screw into. In about 2 days the
rubber bushing had separated from the outer metal housing and the mirror would rotate on its own.
Tried to fix it with silicon glue but it too failed after a few days.

Kind of like a Norton motor mount for mirrors.

I removed the universal mirrors of the Eldo this Sunday. I screwed in some
old CB 750F mirrors in to the mounts and
attached them to the handlebars. They grip pretty tightly and have
allen-headed screws. The 750 mirrors are a larger
diameter than the universal ones but the left one still vibrated much more
than the right side; kinda looks like what
happens after you take some mescaline...not that I've ever taken the
stuff...just what I've heard on the street....
