I'd like nothing more than to fix it and ride on the California twisties, but I've been told that a Sport crank is impossible to find and are not remade. Wanted to have Moto International work a T-3 crank into it, but they just said that they nolonger work on Sport motors rebuilds because parts can't be found. Very discouraging!!!

Sell it off whole. Cranks can be found, as I'm sure you know. Or buy a crank and fix it yourself. No need to hot-rod a Sport.
I also used to be into Knuckleheads.
Welcome to the list.

By the way, I have a 1973 V7 Sport (all original

my only options are to spend $4000 at Cycle Garden
to
hotrod the motor OR sacrafice it and sell all
parts to
get my $3000 investment back out. Does anyone
have a
suggestion???
