Ever since I can remember reserve on a loop has been "one side on-one side
off". The off side will hold enough fuel for 30 + or - miles depending on
your fuel mileage. I use the right hand tap to run on and the left side for
reserve. Never had a problem. This will not work if you have eliminated the
fuel cross-over from the lines.

Several weeks ago I posted a message inquiring about replacement petcocks for my Ambo's tank--the tank's threads were stripped. In any case, I found some petcocks sold by Storz Performance, Inc that fit 1/4 N.P.T. threads. I tapped the bosses (?) on the tank to fit, put some sealant on, screwed the taps in, and we were good to go. They're pretty cheap, too, about $15 ea, but no reserve.
