Hi Ian,
I've seen this problem on five speed transmissions, but not on four
speeds. I assume you have the breather that looks like a bolt with a
hole in the center. If so, you can drill it and solder a length of steel
tubing and fit a hose or you can buy Guzzis ready-made one - part no.

Hey All, Anyone ever have to deal with tranny fluid blowing out the breather? I am getting intermittent spurts and was wondering if this has been seen by others. I am kind of thinking that this will settle down after the fluid goes down a bit (I did put the correct amount in) but I am wondering if this breather may need to be fixed or is it just a little hole that vents pressure? Will keep an eye on it. Another question.....when I go to straighten the rear wheel...as I tighten the spokes to pull the section of rim over do I need to loosen the corresponding spokes on the other side? Thanks all...Ian |
