It could also depend on the type of anti-seize used. There are types with copper in them that may help heat transfer vs. the others. In any case, I've used anti-seize on all the plugs on all my vehicles and have not noticed any pinging directly attributable to it. Loose guides, busted rings, inproper timing, lean mixture ... sure thing. Remember, like "Brill Cream" a little dab'll do ya'. Cheers,
