Mkike,
Don't panic and get new heads. My Ambassador came with exhaust threads
totally gone. I had the heads rebuilt by Dale's in Rock Island (since closed) and
he sent the heads to a machine shop where the exhaust was bored and a threaded
sleeve welded in place. Very tidy. I am sure that if you shop around, you
can find a source for this. Start with Mark at MGClassics.
