With a recent mention of distributor springs, I'm reminded that I have a
set sitting on the shelf for about a year now that I've never put in.. I
recently put on a new chain and tensioner (valtek). I've still got sort
of 'wobble' in the timing mark when I put a light on it and throttle
up.. so I was thinking I might get on with putting the springs in.. if
that has anything to do with it? I assume the ones in there are pretty
ancient. Long story short.. it looks like a bit of a challenge.. does
one typically remove the distributor to ease getting at those things..
or do it in place.. are there any tricks.. it's a tiny spring(s) and I
can see them flying already... thanks in advance... Bill
