that's true, if you've had 'em out, they gotta be re-sealed. still a pita,
doing the same job twice. [especially with Keith being so patient with
patience the patient] -sorry- couldn't resist! :>)

Andy, I had an experience w/ my eldo ..replaced the rear seal because of
leaking in the bell housing and the leak persisted... I asked around and was
told to seal the two lower bolts for the rear main bearing carrier..they go
through all the way...after I did that..no more problems.
Hope this might be of help.
Roberto.
About the leaking in the garage sitting..it might be the oil that has
accumulated in the housing. ?

hi gang- took Keith's ambo out for a toot, and discovered, much to my disbelief, that there's an oil leak- drip, drip, from the bellhousing. [!!!!!] the |
mainseal is new, blah, blah, blah. what is the gereral concesus- leave the engine in the bike and remove the swingarm and the trans., or pull the |
engine/trans. back out? he wants her home sat., which leaves me 2 days [tues. and thurs.] to get this fixed. what the heck can it be, now? damn, i'm depressed. tia, andy |
