Sell it? Blasphemy!
Now that the little 'rib'n' is out of the way I would say it's an emotional
issue. When it's running good and folks are stopping you asking you
questions about it how does it make you feel? I'm not a real confident
mechanic but with the manual I have had the top end off, the starter apart,
distributer out, forks apart, most of the electrics apart and wheels off of
my Ambo and it still runs just fine ;-). I find it's always best to have two
bikes around so that when one is down at least you can ride your frustration
out with the other. I think of selling my Ambo from time to time but then go
in the garage and wipe off the chrome, start it up or just look at it. That
usually stops my thoughts. Lately I have been lusting after an MZ Black
Panther. I am going to have to sell a bike to do it and the Ambo wont be the
one going. What are your priorities at the moment? I know it must feel like
a money pit but I bet is something simple that can be tracked down and
fixed. Just a little more patience. Besides not running it wont be worth
much.
Best luck and wishes
Rich

2. Sell the bike and have the nightmare be over. Problem is I have
more than $4K invested already, is it possible to get at least $3K in
it's current state?
