I have talked to a few guys that have but Ambo rear ends in their Eldos.
They said it helps lower the engine RPM when running on the highway at
high speeds.

Advertised as a '71 (didn't they start in '72?) Eldo.
Ambassador rear end housing,
Eldo Decals but is definitely a repaint (white headlight/taillight),
Eldo engine block determined by webbing.
So were there any transitional 71 Eldo's with Ambo style rear drive
housings?
Enquiring minds want to know.
