it doesn't take much to make my tacho swing about.
i was thinking a tight valve gap might be closing enough to push valve off
seat when it gets hot.
loose exhaust joint is more likely to produce backfires on the over run.

Checked the exhaust nut--couldn't turn it. Will check the valves, too. But why would that make the tach jump around? (also might eliminate carb issue, wouldn't it?) Rich A |
