I just got back from a short test ride on my new 71 Ambo I bought in
Indiana last Thursday. I couldn't pick it up until this morning and got
home with it a few hours ago. I think you all saw the pics of it from
Mark Wolf. I basically cleaned the jets, left the shit gas in it, put a
different starter in it (solenoid cracked) rigged a battery and some
ignition wiring and it busted right off. No headlight yet so I just rode
around the neighborhood. Looks like just a major cleaning, basic
cables/tune-up stuff and maybe a u-joint boot and this bike will be good
to go.
This one is going to stay bone stock.
