Congratulations!
I got another Eldo last week, too. It's a 74 with the 4LS front end and
19,000 miles, for $500. I hope I can get it running as easily as you got
yours running.
It's in Arizona. Nolan Woodbury picked it up for me and is storing it
until I can either fly down and ride it home or have it shipped.
It's got a Windjammer fairing. Very '70s-ish. A hard rider like you
oughtta have one. Want it?
So which loop you taking to Alaska?

I just got back from a short test ride on my new 71 Ambo I bought in Indiana last Thursday. I couldn't pick it up until this morning and got home with it a few hours ago. I think you all saw the pics of it from Mark Wolf. I basically cleaned the jets, left the shit gas in it, put a different starter in it (solenoid cracked) rigged a battery and some ignition wiring and it busted right off. No headlight yet so I just rode around the neighborhood. Looks like just a major cleaning, basic cables/tune-up stuff and maybe a u-joint boot and this bike will be good to go. This one is going to stay bone stock. JB |
