Well, thanks for the advice guys, but I'm not so sure. These bags were
involved in a fairly wicked crash, a 70mph speed wobble that turned into
having the Eldo slidingon both sides and upside down, sliding with it's
wheels in the air and skating on the police windshield and rear rack. Both
bags have clean breaks thru them in either the body of the bags or the lids,
as well as cracks that have fiberglass hair coming out of them but are not
thru cracks, and general cosmetic scuffing. It will be a significant
repair, and I'm not sure I'm up to it because in the end I don't "just" want
them patched, I want them to look like new.

| Fiberglass repair is easy. It's like a combo of JB weld and paper mache. Just make sure you ventilate and wear mask gloves and glasses. Make sure the mask will handle fumes. Goop it on there. It will look ugly at first. Snad it down. Paint. Easy as pie.
