Well, I did it. I purchased new U Joint and carrier bearing from Moto
International. I found they had the best prices (by about $100) over the
other sources I called. Could use a little instruction on phone etiquette,
unfortunately.

The chances are that when the U-joint explodes, it ain't gonna happen in your driveway.
