Mark,
What is the serial number of the bike?
By the way...you found yourself a jewel and the price was indeed a steal.
You will be amazed how nicely that bike will clean up and the fact that it
is all original makes it valuable in my opinion.
Regards...Ian

When I stopped to look at the bike the guy wanted $1000 for it. I had no idea what it was worth, and really couldn't spend more than $400 for what was really an impulse buy. I really didn't think he'd accept less than half his asking price, but he did. I'm trying to determine if my bike is a '70 or a '71. It is titled as a '71 but the reference material I have found so far says a '71 should have a speedo/tach and a heal/toe shifter. My bike has only a speedometer and does not have a heel/toe shifter. The build date on the frame is July 1970. Is it a '71 or actually a '70 titled as a '71? Thanks, Mark Wolf |
