No, bodies are black with exposed chrome springs. I like the look of the
originals. I will probably look at alternates.

If so, they're the Konis. Eiter way, though, you're probably better
off buying new shocks thanrebuilding the old ones. If you get new,
get tem in the longer LeMans length. ets you some much-needed ground
clearance.

I've "rebuilt" two sets of the Konis put on Eldo police bikes and some V7 Sports. You can't get new parts, so I took apart several sets, used the best seals, put in fresh oil, and they worked fine. (They're adjustable, too.) The procedure is in the V7 Sport supplement (or is it the T supplement?). GF
