Hi Ian,
Just curious, how did you come to the conclusion that approx. 1,000 are
remaining?
Have a happy new year.

Would make sense. The first Eldos had serial number (approx) 50000. The last serial number I recorded was 62335. Subtract the two numbers and we are in the ballpark......12,335 units. Just for fun.....if we were to follow the same logic then there would have been approximately.....1800 V700's made (that is assuming that the first unit had serial number 1000 and they ended around 2800). There were approximately 300 "A" series Ambos made (12000 - 12300). For the American Ambassadors: 13000 - 26405 = 13,405 units. Of course this is a rough number but if you do some basic math we come to something like 28,000 Loops made. Assuming that there are roughly 1,000 left in exsistance we are indeed a rare breed of bike owners. We are truly a lucky bunch! Have a good New Year....y'all.....Ian -----Original Message----- From: allen heinrich <atss-@yahoo.com> To: Loopfram-@topica.com <Loopfram-@topica.com> Date: December 31, 2001 2:09 PM Subject: Re: MG Big Twins production numbers
