I don't know if you were there but Nancy and I took a ride up on the V50
Monza and stayed for a couple of hours. Nice turnout of bikes, cars and
planes. I had a long talk with the owner of the Vincent (and Ariel
etc.) in the hanger about his bikes and some of his bike and car
experiences. He's about 80 years old, collects all sorts of neat stuff
and has a million stories. He made my day. The riding was a little on
the cool side but definitely worthwhile.
The bad news is that we were in our leathers (no pockets) and without a
tankbag so we left the camera home. I sure home somebody took pictures
and posts them.
