Other questions....
Was it difficult to get the throttle grip sleeve onto the bars? there may be
some binding there. I use some grease in there to make it easy. does the
rubber grip maybe bind on the end of the handlebar? If the throttle doesn't
snap back down to idle then it may be something like that.
Mine still have the heavy springs. When I went to the BMWOA rally in Oregon,
I bought a throttle rocker. Nice doodad. Annoying in town but nice out on
the road just a plastic bit that clips onto the grip. adjusted right I could
keep the gas on and rest all four fingers on the brake lever with no
fatigue. I could also hold the gas on with just my thumb and allow me to
roatate and flex my wrists. when in town it's a pain in the ass. but it pops
off with a flick of the thumb and I can stuff it in a pocket. pretty nice
for a 10buck doodad.

Be sure to keep an eye on your plugs, They'll tell you alot. That's excellent, what ever it was, that she's purrin' like a kitten in the sunshine! Try the "light springs" from Mark and Gordon. Seemed to make a differance for me. Speakin' of which..... I'll second your praise for MG Cycles, great guys. They represent everything that Guzzi should be by reenforcing the sense of community.
