Hi Z,
The little screw is turned in to lean out to richen.
I was recently told by a long time Eldo guy that the little screw is for
very minor adjustments. If you want to lean or richen the mixture the best
way is to move the tapered needle a notch up or down. Up will enrichen I
think.
One other thing....check to be sure your choke cables aren't binding and
staying open slightly.
