| PO put a 28 Amper in mine, but she was slow cranking. Per Mark at MG Classics and Cycle Garden, they use Group 55's, which is why I went with one. Was going to mail order one from Mark, but found out they are difficult top ship due to the battery acid, so decided to look local for a Group 55 and found one. Think it's 500 cca's, Guzzi shop recommended this size to me, so I just had to go through the hoops of making it fit. Fits tight and is tied down well, just took some effort to get it to fit.
