Looks like it is just drain the oil, pull the generator belt pully, undo the bolts remove the cover, replace the gasket and reverse. Might as well replace the seal while I have it off. The pulley nut can be a bear. I had to fabricate a holder by drilling
a couple of small holes in a piece of steel plate that would line up
with two of the three small studs around the large pulley nut.
These allowed me to use the plate as an obstruction to keep the
crankshaft from turning as I turned the pulley bolt. Used it again
when retightening the bolt. Not hard to fabricate, and then you
never need another. Good luck,
