Don't know what your tail light bracket looks like but, if it looks
similar to an ambassador then I would outside the fender but under the
tail light bracket....that's how mine was set up before I took it apart
and will set it up the same way again.

excuse the lovely graphics...best I could do to give one an idea what
the heck I'm saying.....dotted lines represent the tail light bracket
that go out to the TL {bulb holder and lens}. OO rep, the rear fender
and X marks the spot where my wires are.

There is a small bit of speaker wire spliced onto the wires from inside the rear fender for the tail light and turn signal. And these connections are outside of the rear tail light housing. I'm going to replace the all the rear tail light wire with some real auto wire this spring but where should I put the connections? Do they belong inside or outside the housing?
