thanks, The 40 MPG is what I was about what I was expecting. I haven't really riden my bike other than around the block, as I haven't registered it yet. I was wanting to get the major bugs out before spending the cash for title ect. Anyway I am going to give these Autolite plugs another week to foul and if they don't I am goign to get her registered and go for a real ride. All the idleing needed for the tuning can't be real good on the bike but had to do it until I got it right. Well thanks again for the feedback.

Hi Richard, My '69 Ambassador averages 40-45 mpg. This is usually on a mixture of
backroads
and highway, very little in town riding. It was quite a shock to "only"
get 40
mpg after riding a 350 Morini before it - when ridden enthusiastically
mileage
dropped into the 60s, normal was 80 plus! :-)
