I asked that question some weeks ago and the general summary replies was
that the oil weight is not that critical but that heavy weight stuff like 50
works fine. People replied with ATF fluid, 40 and 50 w motor oils. The
oil is mainly a lubricant with some minor damping action. These forks are
pretty low tech. I put in some 20-50 that I had. I haven't ridden it yet.
Probably the main thing is to put in equal amounts of oil on each side .
