this url will show you an exploded view of the forks, number 48 is a drain
plug, it has a screwdriver slot in it, number 49 is a gasket, there is one
on the bottom of each fork leg.

dropped the fork and cleaned and greased head bearings last week. They
were
 bone dry.
Luckily all looked OK, no race or roller damage.
I looked for oil drain plug to get old fork oil out. I couldn't see
one.
I just turned forks upside down and poured out the oil.

Is this the normal procedure? It was no problem now that fork was out
but, as a standard maintenance item, it seems there should be a plug.
Am I missing something?
Also, I got the word about using straight 50W oil to refill. Cant find
it
 so far. Will 20-50 work?
Thanks
