Hi All,
I have been a member of this group for awhile, but I haven't really
formally introduced myself. I correspond on a regular basis with Ian, feel
like I know you in person by now :-). I live in Crestview Fl. north of
Destin Fl and east of Pensacola, I am 37 and in the Air Force. I have a 67
V700 with 22K original miles. I got the bike from my Dad who had it parked
from around 72 untill I got it Nov 99, of he left it parked behind the fan
of his paint booth. I will be forwarding some pics to you Dave soon, want
some with the newly aquired battery covers first. Any way, I cleaned and
polished for months, cleaned the oil pan rebuilt carbs, new plugs/wires and
fired her up. It is still running a little rough, but hopefully by spring I
will be riding the coast.
I too have always wanted a Harley and just lucky to have my loop as
funding is to low for another bike. I still want another new cruiser but
the loop will never be sold as I have fallen in love with her. I have riden
her around the block and it gets some curious looks.
Rick

I've been sitting back and reading the exchanges. Seems like many of you know each other quite well. Here's a quick rundown ...........Anyway, looking though the Guzzi web sites I found Dr Dave's Loopframe site. Saw the Black Loopframe with the solo seat. That was it. I knew what I wanted now. By the way, I liked that reference to the bike shaking like an old Whirlpool ( I may be wrong on the washing machine brand but I got the drift of the message) --- Sponsor's Message -------------------------------------- What's the Dirt?
