My Ambassador shop and riders manuals calls for tire pressures in
the low 20s (psi) while my newer, lighter sportbike runs pressure in the low
30s. Question: is this lower value for the 30 year old Ambo based on tire
technology of the day for something else I don't know about? The Metzlers on
the bike point to much higher pressures than the manuals suggest. And does
anyone then have modern day tire pressure recommendations or does it vary by
manufacture? Just curious again.
Thanks,
Rich

Swingarm and headset are likely culprits, as well as worn
tires--tires can
make an incredible difference in handling....
