It occures at higher speeds. Not too much other info than that. What She can say is that it only appeared recently and she didn't notice a problem during her 2000 miles trip this past summer. When I was probing around on the bike everything appeared to be ok (tire pressure, spokes, rear drive, ujoint etc...) but I did notice that the swing arm was a bit loose where it ties into the frame (at the pivot bearing). I am going to have a look at the bearings and spacers to see if they are cracked, repack the bearings and set the swing arm right. I am wondering if you think that the loose swing arm could have caused the wobble? Regards...Ian |
Swingarm and headset are likely culprits, as well as worn tires--tires can
make an incredible difference in handling....
