Hi Ian,
I'll ask the obvious question - did she add any (heavy) accessories to the bike?
Read the section about the Police bike wobble problem in Greg Field's book about
this. It seems some Loopframes are weight distribution sensitive. Adios amigos!

Hi All,

I was looking at a friend's Eldo yesterday trying to determine the cause of
a wobble that has recently appeared on her bike. It occures at higher
speeds. Not too much other info than that. What She can say is that it only
appeared recently and she didn't notice a problem during her 2000 miles trip
this past summer.

When I was probing around on the bike everything appeared to be ok (tire
pressure, spokes, rear drive, ujoint etc...) but I did notice that the swing
arm was a bit loose where it ties into the frame (at the pivot bearing). I
am going to have a look at the bearings and spacers to see if they are
cracked, repack the bearings and set the swing arm right. I am wondering if
you think that the loose swing arm could have caused the wobble?

Regards...Ian
