I have used laquer thinner on them and it worked real well, followed by
some Armerall.

didn't do a thing, a Brillo pad worked a little more, but they still are a wee bit dirty looking. Any ideas? Also what should I use to 'glue' them back on? I have heard WD40, Hair Spray, contact cement etc, who had any good tips?
